bourbon bramble


wishing it was still fall...

A cocktail I did for The Bluebird with fresh market berries back when they were in season.

Kentucky Vintage Bourbon, Mixed Berry Syrup (black,blue,raz), Lemon Juice, Orange Bitters. Garnished w/Mint, Orange zest, & Berries macerated in Cointreau & sugar.

risi e bisi!

Risi e bisi is a classic Venetian dish, translated rice & peas, I threw in some smoked ham and Parmigiano-Reggiano for good measure. I didn't have any arborio rice, so I just used regular. Wishing I had some Bardolino rosé... I'd settle for this Camerano Barbera d'Alba, but I'm sick so no wine pairing tonight.
